At this year’s Tucson show we were approached by a gentleman with a signed copy of a rare book, AGATES by Johann Zenz. The book is slightly used, but in good condition. Published by Bode in 2005, this hardcover book is one of "the ultimate sources for agate information." It includes sections on Agates from Asia, New Zealand, Australia, South America, Mexico, USA, Canada, Africa and Europe. The index includes over 1200 entries. There are over 2000 color photos and maps of agates and agate deposits. AGATES is the first book in arguably the most comprehensive series regarding agates.
